Participation Process
The NSRF Programme
Students’ requests for participation in an internship cycle are submitted after notice from the Internship Office, at specific dates, at least one month before the beginning of each cycle.
In the event of students’ requests exceeding the internship vacancies, placements are made based on the average academic score of each applicant and the semester of study.
Upon completion of students’ applications, a list of the associated entities is created, along with the internship vacancies they offer. Students, under the guidance of the Internship Office, choose the entities they wish to be occupied by and address them for the selection process. When the recruitment is complete, the entity should inform the Internship Office so that it can prepare and send the documents required for the initiation of the internship.
All students participating in the Programme are required to attend an information event held before the beginning of the cycle.
A faculty member is assigned as the Academic Supervisor of each student’s internship.
Upon completion of the internship, all interns must submit an Assessment Report for their Internship, accompanied by the Evaluation Forms of the host entitiy and the Academic Supervisor.
In all cases, internships start within the first week of each month.
The Donations Programme
Students interested in the internship vacancies announced by the University of Macedonia Internship Office, must contact the Office to submit a request.
After receiving from the Internship Office the contact information of the entity offering the internship, students address the entity for the selection process.
When the recruitment is complete, both the entity and the student should inform the Internship Office so that it can prepare and send the documents required for the initiation of the internship.
